still being questioned so they aren't saying more than that but a 37 year old man from Felixstowe has been arrested on suspicion of five murders.

it only takes 5 murders to be a serial killer these days? Todays standards are so low.

I think this guy gave an interview to The Mirror yesterday about how he thought he would be arrested and that he didn't have an alibi.

he also gave a BBC interview about knowing the women..radio 5 live played a bit earlier...if he didn't do it that is a very odd thing to do..if he did do it then it is still odd

Yeah just read the Mirror article very strange. He was like their 'pimp' but in the loosest sense of the word.

I don't know what to make..it wouldn't be unheard of for killers to search out some sort of publicity. If he didn't do it he needs serious mental help.

Sounds an odd scenario - now that he's arrested, there will be more forensic samples avialable. There appears to be a lot of work to do yet - including locating the actual place or places of the killings. If the girls were stangled and no or little evidence of resistance - there are few situations where anyone could get near to doing that - unless they were already drugged.

Or he could just be seeking attention..... sounds highly possible.

actually, of the 5 victims commonly accepted as being Ripper victims, all were killed within about a 4 month period in 1888.
