Are Zango and TOPBucks partners?

I found the interesting page of Zango domains and domains of their partners:

www . benedelman . org/spyware/180-affiliates/exclusions.html

Fine list
BUT There all TOPBuck's domains and all TOPBuck's paysite domains ...

I would listen a comments from TOP Bucks and from adult webmasters
Thanks

It also gives the reason why they are not being targeted.

I know what you mean (I think) but I'm sure it wasn't 180's choice not to target all these domains. :)

It IS possible to be excluded from their "advertising".

WTG TopBucks!!!

"For selected domains, I have listed a classification. Some domains seem to be excluded because they are 180solutions itself, or 180's business partners, neither of which 180 apparently seeks to target with its popup ads."

spacedog 12-17-2006 11:11 PM

and if you read right next to topbucks domains, it says "An Independent Affiliate Merchant " .

Quickdraw 12-17-2006 11:17 PM

I wasn't talking about their own domains/partners, I was more specifically talking about TB and the others.

AdultFriendFinder could be excluded just if they want to? And let us affiliates keep our money?
Right?
If so, LegendaryLars has a lot to explain here.

TopBucks and Zango are far from partners. TopBucks has a strict anti-spyware policy that we have enforced for years. We have been proactive in achieving exclusion for our domains from several spyware companies.

Maybe you might want to give Lars a call and explain to him and his lawyer how this is done, because he feels that Zango is forcing him...

FREE LEGENDARY LARS!

i'm not looking to start shit , im just curious ... How did your domains get on the exclusion list ? Im sure many people would like to do the same ? Most of the domains on that list are buying traffic from zango and thats why they are being excluded..

Hi SmokeyTheBear,

Again, this was done years ago through our legal team and I'm not familiar if Zango would still comply with requests as they have in the past. Our proactive approach to protect against spyware includes actively trademarking and copyrighting all our properties as well as proving targetting and theft by spyware companies. I think all of these things combined have helped contribute to most companies complying with our requests.

There are some additional more aggressive approaches we have taken as well when needed.

:thumbsup justt checkin to make sure .. many of the domains on that list are traffic buyers from zango ..so just making sure .. even if an affiliate buys traffic the domain will still be added to the exclusion list ( or it would create popup after popup )

I notice cjtraffic.com and all the related sites just got added to the exclsion list as well .. makes ya wonder..

SmokeyTheBear 12-18-2006 11:07 AM

might wanna make sure there isnt anything shady going on as i notice that some of your sites were only recently added such as justfacials.com that was added in the last few months..

Lars hasn't logged in to GFY in about 3 weeks. His crew has been pretty quite here. I am sure they could be excluded from zango either by asking zango or forcing them through lawsuits. It is obvious that AFF makes too much money from Zango. In addition to the domain name targeting of several other websites, AFF also buys banner space on zango's tool bar. AFF buys a LOT of zango traffic in one form or another, they are deep under the covers with the company and appear to be happy with their relationship with them.

btw, I think andrew took Lars' Keyboard away from him :1orglaugh

Goes to show you if AFF wanted to all they would have had to do was get their attornies to send a letter.

If anyone really thinks that AFF didn't want to buy from Zango then I have some property on Mars I went to sell them.
