I wonder how they can do that though? |
You know of course that when you download from those sites, you are still violating copyright? Allofmp3 at best only has rights for the Russian market, and many of the music companies are debating those rights. So those 1000 songs you downloaded you should have gotten for free on limewire... realistically, a file trader just stiffed you out of $10.

3 music giants create new online service 'Peer Impact' to offer legal way to song swap Updated: 5:39 p.m. ET Nov 26, 2004 LOS ANGELES - Three major recording companies have agreed to make their music available to be shared and sold over a new online file-swapping service that aims to lure music fans away from rival services where trading of music and movies remains unfettered. Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group -- three of the four major recording companies -- have licensed their catalog of music to Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based Wurld Media, the firm said Wednesday. Wurld Media plans to launch its file-sharing software, dubbed Peer Impact, early next year. see it's legal now tell me how they are making money? I don't get it. |

Well at first it was .01cent a song I got most of them then. But it switched to .09cent while I was still searching for music. For some strange reason my brain went for the higher amount I got some of the songs for...I know dumb but it's how my pea brain thinks ...sorry for the error and the albums were .10cents I got a few of them at that price the albums are .99cents now.I didn't get any of those but I put in 10 dollars and it's spent and I have more music then I know what to do with now. Now if I can just figure out how to burn.....:( |
(US$ 0.09) * 1 000 = 90 U.S. dollars
Still pretty cool sucks that its limited to three companies though. |
