Sunday NFL games -- and the TO spitting incident

First off, TO. Should he be suspended for spitting in Hall's face?

"I lost all respect for the guy," Hall said. "That's the No. 1 thing in the National Football League. You don't spit in another grown man's face. Hopefully, the NFL can see it and go back and watch the film right just before the first punt. On third down, we were kind of walking face to face, walking back to the huddle and he just hauled off and spit in my face."
Nothing there about any penalty or repercussions though.

As for today's games....

Bears must win by 2 TD's over Tampa
NO by 10 over the Skins

And I would love to see Arizona upset Denver. :D

Okay, now you..

TO should be suspended/fired just for being TO IMHO.

But to answer your question, no I do not think he should be suspended for just spitting in Halls face last night.

But yes for giving his game jersey to Halls kid after the game, that way crossed the line, spitting in a guys face then "being buds" with his kid right after it? It is even more of a classless act by bringing family into it. Jimmy Johnson said it best, TO is just wanting more attention, and the media and NFL are giving it to him.

They spoke about the character of Tank Johnson on FOX, and said character will be playing a larger part in future drafts and I think it should, playing in the NFL is a privilege and people like TO are not needed.

Marvin Harrison is twice the WR TO will ever be and he has never once pulled any BS, and all he does is his job and break records.

I think TO should make a public apology to Hall, after which he should be made to sit on the bench for at least the next game for his outright insolence.

The guy is hell-bent on screwing up his career with his mouth and his attitude. Unreal. I don't see Dallas keeping him on next year unless they make it to the superbowl this year (which I doubt they'll do at this point), and what other team want's a bucket of trouble like TO?

He's nuts!

CDSmith 12-17-2006 02:37 PM

On another note... fucking Chicago, can't believe they blew a nice lead over Tampa.

Now they might even lose in OT. Idiots!

NFL fines Cowboys' Owens $35,000 for spitting on Hall....

Hope it was worth it TO.

Strickie 12-18-2006 02:25 PM

such an attention whore :1orglaugh

starpimps 12-18-2006 02:28 PM

35k is pocket change for the cowboys or TO
nfl should send a bigger message
what he did was totally out of line

Penthouse Tony 12-18-2006 02:37 PM

If he intentionally spit in someone's face he should be benched one game. That's bullshit.

BitAudioVideo 12-18-2006 02:48 PM

hall is a pussy. he made it sound like T.O worked up a big green one and spit directly at him. that wasnt the case.

when hall says 'he spit in my face' he means 'he was standing infront of me and spit, and it landed near me'

romanowski got fined less than 10k for a bigass loogie that practically hit a guy in the eye.

sicone 12-18-2006 02:51 PM

T.O. is a idiot. How many more teams will take a chance on this guy?

Juilan 12-18-2006 02:51 PM

With all the shit that goes on during every football game between players I can't see why this is so important. Why is spit worse than taunting? The NFL rules commitee has far more to worry about and resolve then spitting.

dynastoned 12-18-2006 02:53 PM

TO has issues that fucker should be banned from the game in my opinion.

Chris 12-18-2006 02:59 PM

Narfle 12-18-2006 03:09 PM

I get it included with my digital cable package.

Tonight's game --- Cincy vs the dolts.

My take: GO BENGALS!

Oh, and spitting in a guy's face is one of the lowest low-class tackiest shit-heel things one player can do to another. Shows complete lack of respect for the game and utter poor sportsmanship in my opinion, and it sure doesn't set a very good example to the fans of what professional players are like.

The ultimate punishment for TO would have been to suspend him for next week's game against Philly, and make him sit on the bench looking like a tool in front of his former teammates. :D

Sosa 12-18-2006 03:46 PM

go bengals tonight!

CDSmith 12-18-2006 04:01 PM

10 reasons why the Bengals are going to win tonight ---
(or at least beat the spread)
1. The Bengals defense has given up only 33 points in their last four games.
2. The Colts offense has scored fewer than 18 points in four of their past five games.
3. The Colts defense is last in the NFL against the run, giving up 176 yards per game at 5.4 yards per carry.
4. In the past four weeks, the Bengals are 4-0; the Colts are 1-3.
5. Cincinnati has scored 61 points over their past two road games.
6. The Bengals defense has held opponents under 100 yards rushing four weeks in a row.
7. Carson Palmer leads the AFC in passer rating (98.7) and touchdowns (24).
8. Rudi Johnson already has over 1,000 yards rushing this season (1,054).
9. Robert Geathers (10½) and Justin Smith (7) have six more sacks than Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis.
10. The Bengals receivers drop a pass one time every 32 attempts; the Colts receivers drop one every 18 passes.
GO BENGALS! :D

reynold 12-18-2006 08:07 PM

That's not a professional player's behavior. That attention whore should be suspended.

CDSmith 12-18-2006 09:41 PM

Apparently I didn't have enough reasons, ha ha

Stupid Bengals.

:D

Torn Rose 12-18-2006 09:42 PM

Go Horse!

Vitasoy 12-19-2006 08:54 AM

He should have been at least a game suspension. To show a precedent.
