Aligator - fishy chicken. As for the sausages, I see venison and buffalo fat added, so I would imagine a tad gamey though more than likely covered up by spices.
Rattlesnake - dry chicken
llama - very little of its own taste. Not enough fat for flavor. Not gamey though either.

Nope. You can hunt alligator legally depending on the season and your license... in some parts of LA they actually encourage you to do it 'under the wire' and go over the limit because they get to become a real pest. It isn't the gators fault... idiots keep feeding them out of their boats so when gators see boats they naturally start associating them with humans and food. I've seen a couple of alligators try to get into boats after people, one (small one, about four footer) actually succeeded.

tony286 12-18-2006 01:15 AM

they said the rattlesnack tastes like chicken then why not just eat chicken and save 35 bucks per pound lol

Vitasoy 12-18-2006 01:37 AM

Wouldn't mind trying some paties..

Maxxx9000 12-18-2006 02:33 AM

Actually Alligator meat tastes great. It's a bit dry, but very tender. Tastes a bit lige chicken:)

I tasted some in Everglades National Park, Florida, on a wonderful family vacation some years ago.
