Anyone here have a hot body? What do you eat and what do you do?
I need to change what I eat. I wanna get skinny and hot.
Like what do you eat when you get up and for lunch and dinner? and what do you do? Do you run everyday? Or bike ride or yoga everyday? |
haha, i hate to admit that i bust out the yoga and sound all hippyish, but ya i do. yoga is great. i'm no supermodel, but it keeps me in decent shape/flexibility. started into to correct my posture & twisted back. you'd be amazed how much better/healthier you feel with a good posture & strong back...
|
Do as many push-ups/sit-ups as you can do every morning before your shower and only eat healthy foods, and only when you're hungry.
As many as you can do = until you collapse |
i drink beer on a daily basis
eat mc donalds and subways and dont exercise :thumbsup try it lol |

Juice it! Get yourself a juice extractor and have juice when you get up, eat a normal lunch and then juice for dinner too. May sound crazy to some but those weird juice concoctions actually taste very good. Do it for a month and you will see a huge change. I have beet-carrot-apple-orange-celery-kale juice every morning now.
And if you have a sweet tooth and that is your major source of excessive calories eat celery. It cuts the cravings for sweets. |

when i was working through the summer i'd blend 4 large eggs, a half can of the frozen orange juice, a few ice cubes and big scoop of icecream up in the blender and suck that back too. i'm pretty sure its basically just the equivelent of mixing up those egg protein shakes, and it tastes alot better. you have to be doing some manual labor or working out or something though...

only take juices in moderation , they are healthy for you but to many aint a good thing , stay away from those juice bars on the street
pushup and situp , while they do help , you need more then that , diet , a good work out routine , get yourself a bike , leave the car at home and ride the bike get some weights , get into a routine , watch what you eat , head down the gym and talk to the trainers get some guidence if pushups and sit ups is the thing you want to do , then as said above do them until you can't take anymore , have a minute or two rest then do again , shock the muscles into reacting , but as said for good form you need more then just situps and pushups |

It takes a long time to put on the weight... Assume it will take just about as long to get it off.
Slowly lose it, don't go for those 10lb/wk diets. You'll end up going into Starvation mode, where your body retains everything, and you can actually gain weight. I just watch what I eat (No McD's, BK, KFC etc...), eat small portions, and only when I'm hungry. I eat only until I'm not hungry anymore. Don't stuff yourself when you are hungry. Aside from that, do pushups, situps, jog in place, 6", jumping jacks, stretch out etc... Do this about 30 to 60 minutes per day. Mediate before going to bed, and when you wake up for about 20 to 30 minutes. This is to keep your stress levels low, which helps keep you in a positive state, and focused. Other than that... Use your best judgement and stick to it. That's the key thing to do... and probably one of the most difficult. Come up with a plan and don't deviate from it. |
Working out as soon as you wake up. Roll out of bed, go run. If you can't go run do as many push ups and sit ups as you can do. Then take a shower, then eat. Don't fuck up the order. Don't eat before you work out. Eat a lot, stuff yourself. Just only stuff yourself with low fat, high protein food such as chicken breasts and tuna. Stop drinking soda, drink as much water as you can in a day. Doing all those things with put your metabolism in overdrive.

I seriously eat like a pig & eat a TON of carbs & desserts but I am a firm believer that your body develops it's metabolism patterns when you are young and still growing (before puberty, like 9-12 years old) & that will kind of make a future template on how your body will handle fat/metabolism in the future. SO when I was younger I played a lot of sports & track n field. OH! & I"m also asian so that helps...
Now I just sit in front of the computer most of the day. BUT everyday I have to 1. chop wood, yes, with an axe & yes it's fucking sexy!! 2. i hike with my dog, sometimes doing 45-1.5 hour hikes 3. I skateboard & snowskate. 4. I shoot all my content for the paysites, that's a lot of stress & work in itself. I think I sweat a lot when I'm doing it, LOL. |

Do something like gymnastics and do not eat after 6. (after my experience) |
I do cardio twice a week (spinning), yoga once a week, and a butts and abs class once a week. I'm still trying to work in some strength training to my workout though.
If you're trying to lose weight, cardio is a MUST. I eat fairly normally -- nothing super-restrictive. Either grapefruit and yogurt for breakfast or occasionally I'll have 2 eggs. Lunch is usually a sandwich or salad and dinner I usually eat fish (salmon mostly) plus a vegetable (broccoli, spinach, or salad) and chicken plus a vegetable. I still occasionally "cheat" and eat Taco Bell or go out to a restaurant and eat pasta. You have to be reasonable with yourself. You're going to go nuts if you completely deprive yourself, so just make your daily diet something that's do-able for your lifestyle and your cravings. |
I think, I'm not that fat, just right but not that sexy you know... I always eat some apple, that can help:)

The only thing i know about myself is that if i need to lose weight, i have to eat as less as possible. This is not healthy but it helps. I do not eat till 12 o'clock (woke up at 7). Only drink tea. Better green without sugar.
And stop eating at 6 in the evening. I also do jogging. It helps tremendously. |
calories in - calories burned = weight loss / gain
Eat foods that are fairly low cal but filling and exercise - cardio only! Pushups / situps / lifting weights etc are for building/toning muscle mass, not losing weight. Find a hobby that requires physical activity - biking, swimming, running, soccer ( football ) etc. and get into it emotionally to where you want to be good and not just 'ok'. Once you start losing weight and noticing a difference.. work even harder, build on your momentum. Once you get to where you want to be, find a lifestyle that allows you to maintain. :2cents |
Halycon needs to get in here :)

i lost 30 lbs in 3 months.. by doing this:
eat around 6 meals a day... very strict meals... carb then protein.. eg. 1st meal Bowl of oatmeal (Natural) 2 hrs later 1 chicken breast, with salsa and non-fat cheese on top 2hrs later 1 cup of white rice, with teriyaki sauce (little bit for flavor, can also use salsa) 2hrs later 1 chicken breast (cooked on a Foreman grill, no oil/butter needed, fats drips away) or 1 beef tenderloin, fat trimmed off 2 hrs later 1 baked potatoe, no-fat cheese melted on top 2 hrs later 1 protein shake or Stallone's proteine puddings x2 You can swap out sauces and such, but keep to this kind of schedule.. low-fat, lowish-calorie diet.. every 2 hrs.. also, i do weight training 4 timesa week. mon/tues thurs/fri and CARDIO 7 DAYS A WEEK... mix it up so you dont get bored.. go jog around the hood, use a stationary bike, a real bike, play basketball, play tennis etc. if you follow this you WILL lose weight at a healthy rate... you just have to be strong and stick to it... simple as that. |
luckly, i've got very slim body so if i wanna get skinny i just reduce my daily meals and that's all
|
My diet isn't that strict, I stay away from high calorie, high fat foods and most sweets and sugar (including beverages). Gym 7 days a week, 20 minutes of elliptical every day followed either by weights or a 10km run every other day... I could probably come up with a more effective weight training program but I'm really just there to have fun and keep active, plus I really enjoy the running.
