Hi,

little warning to anyone dealing with Zuzannadesigns. We payed a deposit of several hundred dollars for a site design and have yet to get anything back. No answer to mail, no answer to phonecalls.......

Not fun.

fuck that! they still owe us money from gallery works weve done for her for almost a year now and still not yet paid full even we've agreed on a deal.. post it in the main forum

long way of us to go, kabayan... so mind your own - don't use other issues to get some popularities, just take care of your clients and you're in good place

Other designers really shouldn't post in threads about negative experience with design companies... it's bad business; makes you look like an asshole.

yeah thats true.. although we have had unfortunate experiences with them should i keep my mouth shut or atleast inform other people/clients and especially designers like us who got ripped off? i tried to fix this with them but sadly those people didn't care...

I would hope that anyone who's had a bad experience would post some details so others can be aware, regardless of whether or not they are in the same line of work. The thief is the asshole responsible for the bad business practices...

btw, according to my old friend, zuzana has 3 more designers and 2 cartoonists here, i wonder how's going on with them, seems they are all well and treated fairly.

I had a good experience with her. Not a great one, but good. Yes, she was a little slow and at times I thought the worst but the project came through and I was very happy with the final result. In fact, her toons were far better than the other ones I commissioned.

zuzana was fine for me, very prompt work

thread is a few days old but...

i read all the warnings about zuzana. then i read rave reviews by a few mods on this board.

i posted a thread needing some simple flash work done. zuzana was the only person to reply and it was only a $100 job so i rolled the dice.

contacted 11/19 and paid $100 on 11/19. job to be completed 11/21.

still waiting and no replies.

thanks to all you mods who said she always delivers on time with quality work.

Live, As I told you, I would be unable to be reached by phone as I have been in the middle of a move. My internet was supposed to be hooked up much earlier but due to the holidays tonight was the soonest they could come hook it up. I never received any emails from you on the 13th, and I have other emails on and beyond that date, so I don?t know where you got that my inbox was full.

As for the site, I have been working on it, and I apologize that my internet took longer to get connected, but that was not, by far, the only reason why the site has taken longer. I have waited for pictures, been told not to have them, then to put them in, you changed the site name, wanted me to change the layout for no buttons, then change it back because you decided you want them. There have been a lot of changes on your part, and unnecessary work because of it. You couldn?t make up your mind for some time about colors. I waited and wrote 3 separate emails about getting the layout you wanted after you wanted LMN to be a different site, only to have you say not to do it. You would tell me one thing, and then Catherine would tell me something else. You had a lack of communication from her, and problems with your programmer on LMV, and that resulted in a lot of extra work.

To say you recieved nothing is a complete lie. Here are the 7 sites you had some time ago, and the 8th I sent to you this week.

i want to revise my post but it is too late to edit it.

i did not intend to imply that no work at all was completed. i did get a first draft and some revisions. i am awaiting flash source files and a completed flash with working links.

i have since posting this been contacted by zuzana.

i suppose it is possible that my email and icq to her last week got lost in cyberspace as it wouldnt be the first time that an email got hijacked by a spam filter.

I have to admit I ordered some banners from her and she gave me crap back, nothing like the portfolio stuff she showed me. So I bowed out, she got a lot of my pictures tho, wonder where they are being used.
