OK, I will sum it up in a few short sentences and then post the ICQ history from the past week on here. Basically, this guy Tanel, with the email [email protected] came to us and got a dedicated server with 1 Mbps. Then in 1 week, his traffic goes to 80 Mbps and kills the server. We put up another one for him for free, and it balances things out. He had been with us 2 weeks and I asked him to pay for overages at the end of the month. He says he can not afford the overages because his business model for his freehost was not working, so I let him settle his overages for $1,000. He gave us a CC card number to make payment and it got declined. He said it was an international card and works, but would wire instead. He said he was making changes to his freehosting and he would be able to make money now.

So needless to say, this guy gives me a B.S. story about having wired money, comes up with every excuse, and then I had to shut him off. He copied his files and then move to another host the day we shut him off. The other host is run by a friend of mine and he will be shutting them down on Monday. He is not around today to do it.

Well, all I can say is you are a webmaster, dont use thexxxhosting.com, they will not be around long. If you are an ISP, watch out you will be burned. If you are a TGP, I would not promote galleries on this host, the galleries will only be on for as long as it takes his next hosting company to figure out he is a dead beat!

I was spammed to use his hosting. Didn't know he was using a server from your company. I recieved a similar spam email for blinghosting.com or bombhosting.com, can't remember which, but it was identical. He's probably trying to do the same thing with several domains.

And Bash, this was not unprofessional. I just got fucked and he will do the same to you. I let him stay up for over 20 days without paying and using 50 Mbps.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, because a lot of webmasters where using his free host and I did not want to just shut it down.

This guy is on a rampage and you could have been his next victim. I assume you will not be doing business with him, which means this post served its purpose.

In 4 years, I have never posted about some one not paying there bill, because that would not be professional. But when I am lied to and I feel I have been scammed, I think I should give people a fair warning.
