Anyone using SpamAssassin effectively?
I have it on a couple of my servers and I had tested it but found it no better than any other spam software.. false positives etc.
This week I started adding some of my own hardcore rules and I'm up to 50% being labeled spam with no false positives (no white list being used yet). Does anyone else use it with their own sets of rules? |
I know its surferesque, but spamarrest is pretty failsafe

I'm using it with qmail and it works great. I don't get too many false positives, and the one's I do get are mostly sponsor newsletters. My overall threshold is set at 2.0. I have some custom rules/filters setup that I've been tweaking for a while so as time goes by it gets better and better so that helps. That, and the bayesian filters.
I also use ClamAV which also works well. |
