I want a good stat tracker!
 

I am looking for a stat tracker/counter... preferably something that can be installed so that i dont have to go and put in a script on every page that i want to show up in the control panel.... it's gotta be in real time too... please help, im so tired of the one(s) im using and cant seem to find anything good :Oh crap

AwStats -- Its a bit hard to install. But try to search PowWeb knowledgebase for installation guide. Its good step by step guide.

I have Awstats installed already as wellas statcounter, but I dont like the look/feel of awstats but mainly its not real-time stats, it updates like every 24 hours.... is there a version of it that is in real-time?

that click tracks looks really good, a little expense but probably worth it. Is it code you have to install on each page of your site or a server install?

I really like Trace Watch for all of my sites.

tracewatch.com A php include has to be added to every page... but it works great for galleries if you just set your .htaccess to parse .html files as php.... so you can still make gallery1.html but have the php include on there.

I just checked my awstats and there is a "Update now" link at the top of the main page.

you can have an "update now" link at the top of the awstats page. if you haven'tt got one you can edity awstats.conf and change the updatestatsfrombrowser = 0 to = 1

i think that was found to be a security hasard though not so long ago so you need to htpasswd the directory.
