If an affiliate using the FHGs is getting a lot of hits, but.....
 

Sending little traffic and no sign ups, what should I do?

Normally the the FHGs send good traffic and sign ups, it's easy to tell on the stats who is getting the hits to the galleries and who is sending traffic. Then on CCBILL it's easy to see who is sending sign ups.

But after the recent threads about a sponsor cutting out 95% of his affiliates I was looking at the stats on who was sending what and saw this. A couple of affiliates are burning BW on FHGs and sending nothing in terms of sign ups.

First step will be to send an email, what should be the next?

Haven't you been on these boards telling everyone that you know more than them about running paysites? Exclusive content isn't worth the money etc etc etc.

Someone with your vast knowledge should have no problem whatsoever figuring this one out right?

None so far, lot of views on the galleries and very little traffic coming to our site.

Email him and ask him where he is promoting your galleries.. Could be as simple as using the wrong thumb or text link. Surfers gets something different then he thought he'll just exit the page.

Where have I ever said I know anything about traffic?

Porn yes I do know a fair bit. Learned in the last 30 years and in markets a lot tougher than the Adult Net. Where else do yousell your porn other than on the Interent?

Much of the traffic thing is a mystery to me.

What I have learned about running a paysite I have shared with everyone. Would you rather I did not share it so others do not compete with you?

I know little about running a paysite, but still make a very nice profit from it. Is that because I'm lucky, running a paysite is not as tough as some would lead us to believe or I do understand what porn consumers need?

Paul, there are currently a few very rude and ugly bots out there clicking everything in site repeatedly, running up some pretty huge click counts... pure hitbot, as near as I can figure it... but not properly aimed.

Eonpal is one source... tons and tons of empty traffic (I picked up 25,000 hits in a single day from them alone, with near 100% cick thru... worthless shit).

So you may want to look a little more closely before pulling the plug on anyone.
