My buddy told me he got one of one from a store on ebay.

Play-Asia.com had them recently....
but you can probably find them for sale on the Craig's List in your area.

God damn, isn't the MSRP on those bitches like $350?

It's $250, and the odds of finding one online without using ebay or something like that are slim to none. :)

I've been watching a wii thread on Amazon since a day after it's launch. I've also been watching them sell on ebay. Mainly because that is where I bought the two that I have, and I wanted to see if I ended up paying too much. They are now going for over $300 more than I paid, so I don't feel bad at all about my decision.

If you decide to get one offline, you can maybe get one by camping out for it, but be prepared for competition. USA Today isn't the best news source, but what they say here pretty much sums it up. :)

Edit: The supply has been so small that places like Best Buy, etc, have yet to sell them online since launch. You could get bundle's through WalMart, Circuit City, and ToysRUs, if you were "lucky" and wanted to spend about $600 for a system and crap games. They never stayed in stock more than a handful of minutes though.

God damn. I will def. have to make some phone calls to local retailers the next few days.

Check Bestbuy, Target, and Ebgames this sunday morning. Get there early and wait 2-3 hours. All three stores have been keeping shipments back until this Sunday when they open.

they have the US ones coming in and out - i bought a US one from them for my outsourced employee in Asia, and it got to him a few days later. have to just keep checking - and their site isn't laid out as well as it seems, sometimes the US ones are on pages you really have to hunt for.
