Off to give blood.
 

Well it's that time of year again so I'm off to give blood, the news will be there so I might even get a quick spot on tonight's news. :winkwink: Do you give blood? I do every year at this time. I was in a bad accident years ago and I had to get blood so ever since I have given blood at X-Mass time.

I donate blood a few times a year as well. usually a big need for it.

Yeah, I tried to give blood a couple days ago...my iron was too low :(

Have to wait a week and try again.

No, never gave blood. Don't know where it is and what medical certificates should i bring with me. I think i have to prove somehow that i am very healthy if i want to give blood. Isn't it so? Or may be in different countries it is differently.

Ya I have an appointment tomorrow, I started last year, Apparently I have AB+ which is pretty rare so I gotta keep it up. No matter what type you have, everyone should donate. Its pretty amazing as well when you get a call to donate plasma cause you match a cancer patient across the country. Knowing that your blood is going directly to someone for their survival, its kinda cool.. :pimp

You are all responsible and generouse people! After reading your posts, i'd stand up and go to donate my blood as well right now.
I am only sorry i am loosing my blood now every month for lab exam. But i after i am through i will do that.

I never gave blood. I'd like to but ... it's difficult to explain.

I got type O negative and give 2-3 times a year.

I can't donate blood as I have been to countries that may have infected me with evil mad cow diseases!

I tried to give blood once. They bottled it, then told me it was 90 proof.

I haven't given blood for 2 years now. I don't even think that it's crossed my mind in that time. Thanks for the reminder! :)

I'm anemic so I can't, but I've been the recipient of a few transfusions so thank you to those who donate :)
