Are you full grown? lol Thats the only thing I would worry about is it stunting your growth. As long as you are in good health no big worries. I drink 3 or more redbulls a day. So far so good. :thumbsup

Scott McD 12-13-2006 05:26 PM

No. So drink up !! :winkwink:

sicone 12-13-2006 05:27 PM

If you arent drinking enough water with them to keep you hydrated then it can lead to kidney problems

shekinah 12-13-2006 05:29 PM

All i know drinking too much, can cause ailments, but if occasionally, I think it's just fine.

aimeesweet 12-13-2006 05:29 PM

I'd be bouncing off the walls with all those rockstars!

sicone 12-13-2006 05:30 PM

are these to normal sized ones.. or the triple sized cans

xNetworx 12-13-2006 05:32 PM

got the 24oz'er on my desk

ER!C L!VE 12-13-2006 05:34 PM

I drink 3-4 2 liter pepsi one/diet mtn dew/diet caffeinated soda EVERY day. A few Rockstars = no biggie (except for all that sugar).

bopha 12-13-2006 06:18 PM

Holy Crap. you need to drink water and cut that down to 1 a day. That's not healthy for you. People are going to the ER for heart murmurs because of that.

You sound like every internet guy I know. We buy it by the case at Costco.
Say it with me.. "I will drink only 1 per day for my health."

"The problems with "energy drinks" arise when too many are consumed or when they are mixed with alcohol. For example, they have become popular at all-night dance parties, bars and clubs.

People drink them to keep up their energy during periods of intense physical activity or drink them after exercise to quench their thirst. But rather than re-hydrating their bodies, these drinks may actually lead to dehydration.

Because of the effects they have, some "energy drinks" may have to be regulated as natural health products under the Natural Health Product (NHP) Regulations, depending on their ingredients (such as caffeine and vitamins), and the claims they make. Under the regulations, natural health products have to undergo a review process for their quality and safety. They also have to display recommended conditions for use, as well as cautions.

Currently, only Red Bull Energy Drink is authorized for sale as a natural health product and bears a natural health product number (NPN). The safety of other "energy drinks" (including those listed above) have not yet been evaluated under the NHP Regulations."

No dude you seriously have to cut down.... That's WAY too much sugar intake.

Wiggles 12-13-2006 07:18 PM

i drink 1 of the double ones a day, they were on sale here for $1/can, i bought a bunch, went back yesterday and sale ended early, i was fucking pissed, back to 2.99/can. Luckily my friend just became a redbull rep, so i may get a new discount :)

interesting info

Usually whatever is in excess is not good for your health. Doesk Rockstars come with no sugar to in the states like redbull does? I've seen only versions of them with sugar here.

StarkReality 12-13-2006 07:31 PM

Well, too much caffeine can be bad if your blood pressure is a little high in general (makes it even higher) or if your hearth isn't 100% healthy...my doctor isn't really happy about my 12-15 cups of coffee plus some coke daily.

tical 12-13-2006 07:33 PM

time for an upgrade to adderall :)

hypertension from caffeine megadoses is very healthy.

seriously though.. caffeine withdrawal is now officially classified as a medical disorder. knowing how fucked up the medical system is in the US, you might be able to get some really good prescription drugs in the end. keep up the good work!
:thumbsup

blackhatter 12-13-2006 10:23 PM

because caffeine is a dieuretic.

StuBradley 12-14-2006 02:04 AM

wow...that extra 1500 calories a day must keep you in great shape. you will either be dead or unable to fit through your front door within 2 or 3 years.

evilangelalex 12-14-2006 12:20 PM

Thanks for all the info people...I guess the general consensus is to cut down, or is it to keep going?!?! I DON'T KNOW, MAN...I'M FREAKIN OUT! GET ME A ROCKSTAR, STAT!!!

evilangelalex 12-14-2006 12:21 PM

I am the complete opposite of you.. I don't have any caffeine daily... don't know how you do it..

If i have one redbull and vodka my stomach is an acidic mess the next day

you will become desensitized to it and most likely drink more and more. caffeine in high doses has no known positive health benefits. its suspected however, of being linked to health problems or at least health risks in certain areas (hypetension, addiction etc).

I am no doctor, but I wonder what are in those things
