I hear it requires some big time specs.

From what I've seen though, it rocks.

I have FS X. It looks good, even though you need a monster machine to run it.

I have a E6600, a 8800GTS and 2 GB 4-4-4-12 RAM and fps on heavy scenery and I get 10-16 fps. Once you get above 2000 ft, it goes up to 40-70 fps.

I haven't played it online because I'm not aware that any online communities like VATISM are supporting it already.

The realism on FSX is fantastic. I am running it on an amd athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 2.21 w 2g ram and it runs great with all the scenary settings at high.
Here is a cap I took the other night.

Don't confuse realism with nice scenery. Indeed, FSX delivered very nice graphics, but the airplane's dynamics has been reduced from somewhat-real to unreal in this release.

If you want to know how difficult it is to actually fly a plane, you should check out the FAA-approved X-Plane.

I'll play it if they have a weapons add-on.
