has anyone read "The Game" by Neil Strauss?
 

that scottybuzz thread that keeps popping up reminded me of this book. its really good and so true. any guy should read this book, and especially any guy who has trouble with girls.

if you havent read it- neil strauss is the skinny bald geeky writer for rolling stone who wrote the jenna jameson, marilyn manson, biographies (some others i cant remember). hes assigned to do an article on guys who's hobby is "picking up" girls (called PUAs = pick up artists), and he gets so into it he actually lives with some and becomes one of the best ever. its more of a novel than a pick up guide, but it sheds a lot of light on the whole biology of relationships and how being good with women is something that can be learned. anyway, if you are a guy you should read it.

I read it awhile ago. It was okay I guess, a bunch of common sense shit really...

yeah it was totally common sense but id never really given it a thought before. ive never had a problem with getting women but i liked how these guys know when they see a chick that they can get her. i always kind of thought it was up to the universe when its exactly the opposite. if you never make a move, youll never get the fat poontang.

It's a good book, but it isn't a how-to guide on being successful with women, although it does give some good advice.

There are plenty of how-to guides out there though :winkwink:
