Left or Right handed
 

Id like to know your views on this, I read somewhere that left handed people are more intelligent than right handed people, and as i am a left hander, i agree on this lol............ what are your views????????:thumbsup

My son was left handed and from everything I've heard, including from my brother who has a PhD in genetics, it's inherited. But NO ONE on either side of the family was left handed for at least 4 generations.

Now it turns out my brother's 4 year old daughter is left handed, so apparently it's genetic on our side of the family, but either someone was forced to be right handed, or it took 100+ years to surface :)

Intelligence doesn't depend on right or left hand.

When i was at school, they used to make me sit on my left hand for the whole day, to try to make me write with my right hand, how middle age is that, i still remember it really clearly, they wouldnt let me use my lft hand for anything, and my writing (obviously, was terrible with my right hand Aas i was only 8 ish) and the teachers would show examples of work with my right hand ! oh never mind now ! we have evolved !!!!!!!

We're wondering if that's what happened to my brother. He's never written cursive since the minute he stopped being tested on it (back in grade school) and his handwriting is awful and always has been.

Another strange thing about my son that my niece seems to be doing is that he threw and caught left but hit right. He also played Hockey, lacrosse and golf right handed. He played soccer and had a very strong left and right foot. He was probably more ambidextrous than he looked into.

This gets stranger, because my son started out as being a leftie, but he can write better with his right hand now, he is 7, but everything else about him is leftie, ie, left footed etc.... sounds like ur bro had the same experience as me

Only thing I can do left handed is write, draw, crochet, brush my teeth... intricate work wielding a utensil. Left is my weaker side. I bat right, throw right, kick right, open jars right, jerk-off right, etc.

I can write with both hands, but more comfortable with my right.

We're all a bunch of left handed freaks on my mom's side. Not just her and her only sibling, but my grandparents, five great aunts/uncles, and my great-grandmother, too. And out of 13 cousins my age, 8 of us are left handed. I don't think anyone is on my dad's side, though.

My great-grandmother could write with her right hand, too. She told us that when she was in grade school, her teacher would stand over her with a yard stick and smack the back of her left hand if she tried to write with it. The teacher told her parents it was "a bad habit" and they should break her of it, lol.
