It seems that there's been a problem with your tickets, over and over, so it might be easier to reply to you here. This is the major problem. At the bottom of every ticket we send out, there's this: Quote:
I've got three tickets from you asking for a free copy of the software, and each time I've replied, asking for a little bit more information. You've replied a few times through the ticket system, you've replied (and gotten bounced) a few times through email. Each time, you replied not with the information I've asked for, but with a complaint about how your email bounced, despite the fact that it says NOT to email back. It's probably better that you simply ICQ me, as I suggested in my last reply. I won't be replying here further, because I only found this thread when someone pointed me to it. We don't use GFY as a support system. We want you (obviously) to be happy, and clearly the support system is NOT going to be able to accomodate the way you'd like to communicate. I resent the implication we're somehow not helping you, in such a public forum. Every ticket you've submitted has been replied to promptly. I'd rather give you the free copy you're asking for than have you raise a public stink. ICQ is in location. |
Just to clear things up, please re look over the e-mails I have sent. I have never ONCE asked for a free copy of any software. I rarely due this, but since you are being sort of rude I will post how I replied.
Also, I have since twice opened tickets through the ticket system without a ticket number sent to me through E-Mail to even look up the status of my support request. E-Mail #1 ------------ It is for the version with the license for just one domain. I understand I can't change the domain and decided I woudl use the domain I chose, which is http://www.textfacts.com - but as you can see if you go there right now it does not allow me to install it A) I honestly have no idea what version, I don't even have a backup copy and I can't find where the 'members' section was where I downloaded this copy and it showed the domain I chose, etc .. I guess if you could tell me where to go to login for that stuff it would be helpful so I could make sure i had a backup copy on my hard drive as well. B) I am not asking for another copy, I accepted the fact I chose that domain w/o thinking and will live with it running off of that domain since I made the mistake. C) I believe I contacted you through e-mail or ICQ from one of your postings on GFY I have no doubt you are reasonable people. If my tone came across otherwise I apologize I have had a rough week and things just haven't been falling my way, I might have been lashing out and not even realizing it. I did have one question for you however, if I like the results of the program once I getit up and running can I upgrade to the unlimited fee for the difference in pricing between the two versions or do I have to pay the full price ? Edgeprod, I would ICQ you myself but I am using Trillian and it is acting up. When I try adding you it says "User already exists" but my logs of any discussions with yo are gone and you aren't listed on my list - so I unfortunately have no way of contacting you through ICQ myself.
That or if you wish to post my ticket number (or e-mail it to me) so I can continue to use the trouble ticket system I would be more than happy to oblige as well. The very first time I submitted the questions above I was never issued a ticket number by e-mail either. so I don't have the original ticket # or the ticket # from when I resubmitted through the system the second time (Which are the only two times I used your system. I don't remember using caps, but if I did, uhm... sorry about that I guess) I did get an e-mail from you when you answered my initial questions I did submit through the trouble ticket system though, and replied back by e-mail (my mistake) because I did not read the disclaimer at the bottom. Once I realized they bounced back I waited 2-3 days (trying once more hoping it would go through by an off chance, also looking for other e-mail addressess on your site/other contact info) and I resubmitted another trouble ticket that had the copies of the bounced e-mails in them so you got my replies to the only questions you ever asked me. At this point I would just be happy to have the system up & running, whatever it takes. My temper never flared up (except maybe a tad when I read your post tonight) bit it appears somwhere you got upset about something and I would just like to get this taken care of, my problem resolved, and get back to business as usual. So, if you could contact me through one of the ways below with the answers.... or if you could contact me through one of the ways below telling me how to log in to the trouble ticket system (I don't have a ticket) and continue this discussion there it would be appreciated. |
