Submitting galleries advice
Do you resubmit the same galleries after a certain amount of time or is it a one time deal? Can I resubmit a gallery after 30 days or 60?
Do you mix up the same content on different gallery templates? If you submit 20 galleries, how many gallery posts are you submitting to. Only the big ones or a massive submit list? Is each gallery promoting a different sponsor? I?m working on galleries right now and I want to have about 30 built before I start a submission campaign. I was wondering what the best practices are if anyone wanted to share a tutorial or submission plan. |
You can use the same gallery template i guess... If you'll be using Chameleon Submitter check this great tutorial: http://www.babagirl.com/ChamSub/.

If you ask me: Once a gallery is submitted, forget about it. Keep it on your server/hosting forever, it will get some search engine traffic even when your listings are gone long ago (you may still be listed in a few archives).
Do never ever resubmit it for two simple reasons: 1. The content is probably already old and overused after a few months, the reviewers won't really like to see the same stuff another 200 times. 2. Some TGPs, some big ones, will blacklist your for it. Make yourself some good templates, or let someone else create them for you. Building a gallery is a matter of minutes, so even if you do a dozen a day, it's well worth this little extra time...and it's not like there isn't enough content around. |
submit and forget or possibly resubmit after six months
