If you're in the usa and near a ranch 99 (asian supermarket), try "red ice". Smaller cans but 4 for a dollar. Taste is similar to the popular pick me up M-150 in Thailand. I highly recommend M-150 too, but it's harder to get :D

Some of it is cheaper food. We goto other stores for alot of stuff, but its hard not to goto aldis cause they're sooo much cheaper than everywhere else for basic stuff. We can fill up the cart for 70 or less easily. Most of it is good food, just not brand labels. Try it out. They dont bag your food there though. You either bring bags or boxes, or do like we do. Just throw the food in the trunk where we have empty boxes we keep there, and tote it into the house. Little different than what you are used to, but that is part of the savings. Cash or debit only also btw. No credit cards or checks allowed. If you are thrifty check it out you'll love it.

Aldi's is like an Ikea for groceries. Its self-serve, and cash only. My mom always shopped there when I was a kid. The food is fine, its just generic.

Aldi, if I remember correctly, is also an extremely profitable company. Aldi, Ikea, and CostCo all doing quite well with the same model.

If you can get it you should also give the redbull full strength a try. Tastes sweeter like medicine because it's not carbonated like the can stuff. They banned it down here but you can still get it in shifty chinese stores.
