Wireless card & antenna (best combo?)
Doing a lot of driving this year. A lot of the gas stations on I-95 now have wifi hot spots, but sometimes i like parking accross the street at McDonalds for lunch etc. Also when I'm at a bar with a wifi hotspot, i like going out to my car to check my stats (parallel parked way up the street). So i need a good couple of football fields of coverage.
Whats the best orinco card, & can someone suggest a fairly short antenna, with a lot of bang for the buck/size. Something 7-12dbi Gracias! |
why not just use a smart phone?

youre lookin for a wificard? as long as youre staying FAR away from Linksys youre good. Those suck big time incompatible with SP2 and a lot more issues.
friend of mine has the combo sprint card, wifi and wireless inet (not gprs but the US version I think) pretty fast and amazing but if youre goin for a wifi, why not get a new netgear card, they have new ones the rangemax next Im gonna get one of those |
