Saved by the bell :)

CarlosTheGaucho 12-07-2006 09:56 AM

Haven't ever watched anything else than Knight Rider in the 80s since some of the TV's could receive the austrian TV ORF, but communist series were also fun.

PEcash 12-07-2006 09:58 AM

How about AIR WOLF?

LiveDose 12-07-2006 10:01 AM

Hill Street Blues.

adultchica 12-07-2006 10:03 AM

LOL @ Knight Rider. The only thing good about that show was Kit.

Happy Days was pretty lame once it hit the 80's

Rochard 12-07-2006 10:21 AM

How in the world could you not include Miami Vice? More than any other TV show it changed the way these shows were produced.

Elixir 12-07-2006 10:25 AM

Knight Rider !!!

Paparazzi 12-07-2006 10:32 AM

this poll SUCKS, you forgot MacGyver & Airwolf :(

Yeah, Great show, I had a massive crush on the guy who played the main character, cant remember his name was it Jan something or other.

SxDx 12-07-2006 10:54 AM

What about Family Ties, The Cosby Show, Full House and what was the Urkel show called??? Family Matters??

Personally, I don't think any show even comes close to The Dukes, but I thought we should give everyone some more options!

~zombiegirl~ 12-07-2006 10:56 AM

you forgot Punky Brewster & Jem & the Holograms (ok, thats a cartoon)

If I recall correctly that guy went nutso. Like totally bonkers. Last I saw he looked like he was on meth or something and looked really really bad.

axelcat 12-07-2006 11:02 AM

Miami Vice

CDSmith 12-07-2006 11:07 AM

A few of those shows mentioned are from the 70's, not the 80's.

Hogan's Heroes ran from 1965 - '71 for example.

MASH, Happy Days, -- definitely the 70's.

Sanford & Son -- 1972 - '77

One of my favorite 80's series was Moonlighting.

pornpf69 12-07-2006 11:08 AM

A Team was the best!!

dennisthemenace 12-07-2006 11:10 AM

Diff'rent Strokes

F U S I O N 12-07-2006 11:13 AM

Bosom Buddies

CDSmith 12-07-2006 11:19 AM

Out of the ones you listed that are 80's shows I'd go with Magnum PI.

Dukes just didn't do it for me for any length of time, neither did A-team. Watched them all for a while but eventually moved on when they got repetitive. Magnum was well-written and well-acted.

If you're going to mention Knot's Landing you have to include Dallas ('78 - '91)

And what, still no MOONLIGHTING??

Moonlighting was right up there in the ratings with Miami Vice back then! :D

Paparazzi 12-07-2006 11:40 AM

My top 3 :thumbsup

1. Airwolf

2. MacGyver

3. The A-Team

E$_manager 12-07-2006 11:50 AM

Married with Children. Very easy show.

PEcash 12-07-2006 11:52 AM

You guys forgot about these.

FRAGGLE ROCK!
CHIPS
GROWING PAINS
HEADBANGERS BALL (MTV)
LIFE GOES ON....(Corky)
AILIEN NATION
THREE'S COMPANY (Mr. Furley...and of course JANET!!!!)

OK, how's those anyone?

Violetta 12-07-2006 11:54 AM

How could you forget CHEERS?

adultchica 12-07-2006 11:55 AM

Bruce Willis was HOT in Moonlighting. That was also when Cybill Sheppard still appeared humanly and not alien-like.

I think a couple of good ones left out of the list:

MURDER SHE WROTE
IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT

Gabriel 12-07-2006 11:56 AM

The Fall Guy... loved the Chevy 4x4 and of course Heather Thomas.
TJ Hooker ... Heather Locklear

ADL Colin 12-07-2006 11:58 AM

That would be CHEERS

ADL Colin 12-07-2006 12:00 PM

Man, I liked 80s tv better than tv today. One of those signs that I am almost 40.
