Saved by the bell :)

Haven't ever watched anything else than Knight Rider in the 80s since some of the TV's could receive the austrian TV ORF, but communist series were also fun.
|
How about AIR WOLF?
|
Hill Street Blues.
|
LOL @ Knight Rider. The only thing good about that show was Kit.

How in the world could you not include Miami Vice? More than any other TV show it changed the way these shows were produced.

What about Family Ties, The Cosby Show, Full House and what was the Urkel show called??? Family Matters??
Personally, I don't think any show even comes close to The Dukes, but I thought we should give everyone some more options! |
you forgot Punky Brewster & Jem & the Holograms (ok, thats a cartoon)

Miami Vice
|
A few of those shows mentioned are from the 70's, not the 80's.
Hogan's Heroes ran from 1965 - '71 for example. MASH, Happy Days, -- definitely the 70's. Sanford & Son -- 1972 - '77 One of my favorite 80's series was Moonlighting. |
A Team was the best!!
|
Diff'rent Strokes
|
A Team
Miami Vice Magnum PI I used to like V too (if anyone remembers that one....) |
was BJ and the bear the 80's?

I can still hear the theme song in my head. |
Bosom Buddies
|
Out of the ones you listed that are 80's shows I'd go with Magnum PI.
Dukes just didn't do it for me for any length of time, neither did A-team. Watched them all for a while but eventually moved on when they got repetitive. Magnum was well-written and well-acted. |
here is a good list
some great shows in there 1980's Shows ALF Bosom Buddies Cagney & Lacey Cheers Cosby Show, The Diff'rent Strokes Dukes of Hazzard, The Facts Of Life Family Ties Golden Girls, The Greatest American Hero Growing Pains Head of the Class Hill Street Blues Knots Landing Love Boat, The MacGyver Miami Vice Mork & Mindy Mr. Belvedere My Two Dads Night Court Perfect Strangers Silver Spoons Small Wonder St. Elsewhere Three's Company Webster Who's the Boss WKRP In Cincinnati Wonder Years, The |

How could you forget CHEERS?

Bruce Willis was HOT in Moonlighting. That was also when Cybill Sheppard still appeared humanly and not alien-like.
I think a couple of good ones left out of the list: MURDER SHE WROTE IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT |
The Fall Guy... loved the Chevy 4x4 and of course Heather Thomas.
TJ Hooker ... Heather Locklear http://www.hollywoodfiveo.com/featur...oker_title.jpg |
That would be CHEERS
|
Man, I liked 80s tv better than tv today. One of those signs that I am almost 40.
