Tell me about it.

From the BBC News website

Chamberlayne Road where the tornado touched down is less than 100m from my new house!! I'm a little worried about what I'm going to find when I go home tonight. Just spoke to a friend up there and apprently it's all sirens and fire engines.

Fuck...

I got a huge bashing with hail around the same time and I am all the way over in the Greenwich area..that was a big storm front.

The winds were strong enough here..sounded like a train..I really hope your place is fine.

That doesn`t sound very good for you mate. :(

My brother was in Dagenham and he says his van started to shake around the same time (for those not in the UK, Dagenham is East London and this mini-tornado was in North London so a fair few miles away!).

Don RELISH 12-07-2006 07:47 AM

Thanks. I'm supposed to be moving in in a few weeks (the builders are just finishing it off) so we'll see what, if any, damage there is when I get home tonight.

My office is down here in Fulham and our windows were shaking like someone was banging on them!

Who said we aren't affecting global weather...

Czech 12-07-2006 07:54 AM

The weather has gone crazy all over the world :(

TheSenator 12-07-2006 07:56 AM

Dagenham is nearly directly across the river to me so we probably got the same thing...at the moment the winds have picked up again too but not as bad

DutchTeenCash 12-07-2006 08:00 AM

its hell and back here too almost dark and raining like wow

Sarah_Jayne 12-07-2006 08:01 AM

really windy at the moment..I want to go out on my balcony to get anything that could fly around inside but I don't actually want to be outside in that
