Before they became a couple, Katie Holmes went to L.A. to meet with Tom Cruise about possibly landing a role in MI3. She went missing for 2 weeks in which time her family (whom she normally spoke with on a daily basis) could not reach her. She returns 2 weeks later and proclaims her love for Tom Cruise and her conversion to Scientology. Something is very fishy here. I think she has been brainwashed.

I read rumours that Tom offered the same deal to Scarlett Johanssen and Jessica Alba but they both refused! The deal was struck up during the filming of Mission Impossible and supposedly Katie agreed, and that's why she's married to him!

She's getting paid millions to marry him (not just getting paid in money but also in status and publicity!), but she lost her freedom and the scientologists and Tom himself have control of everything she does. No one cared about Katie when she was with Chris Klein but now that she's with Tom, she's everywhere in the news!
