CJ just raised their advertising prices by more than double because they figure they can make around $15,000 a day by NOT selling it, but they're okay with taking a 2/3's loss at $5k.

I think there's a hook in that there fish.

Those editorials are usually pretty good.

Yeah no offense to CJ, I have enquired extensively and I know that their clients have been happy advertising there.. But the dollars don't seem to make sense now with the big jump in price. 2 weeks ago there was a thread offering them for a discount at $1500, now it's $5k the next week?

I had no idea Consumption Junction was that big... I once talked to Mark from CJ about doing some advertising and at the time I was apalled how much money they wanted for a simple link from picture galleries.... I have nothing against them, I quite enjoy their site and visit almost every day.

But I think they need to correct their pricing strategies.
