In December 2006, Mary Cheney was reported to be pregnant. Cheney, 37, and Heather Poe, 45, are said to be "ecstatic" about the baby, due in late spring 2007. Cheney and Poe have been partners for 15 years. "The vice president and Mrs. Cheney are looking forward with eager anticipation to the arrival of their sixth grandchild," spokesman Lea Anne McBride said 5 December 2006.
