Enough Tax Money Made By Internet Business - Protection?
 

Why isn't there protection or an agency to go after and investigate all online scams? Including individual people who scam who are designers, or programmers, etc? Such an agency even in existance would stop at least a majority of people in the US / other accessible countries.

Yes it is.
We as an industry just need to find a way or a better way to self regulate and control.

Though hoping the industry as a whole and a meeting of the minds is about as likely as the moon and mars colliding on the 4th of July.

There is, in Ontario at least. The provincial police operate an agency called "phone busters", that investigates telemarketing and online scams.
