Is there a way to sort by keywords in Excel?
I need to sort or show only specific keywords in columns in excel. For example put all the the cells that contain the word "food" at the top. It is in the center or end of the description so can't sort by name.

this tool will organize your keywords in text files.

I couldn't find how to do it in Excel, but it is easy to do with the MS Works database, if your computer already has it installed.
Just copy your Excel cells and paste them into a new Works database, then do a 'find all' with your keyword. I'm sure you can also do it with MS Access, but it is a piece of cake with Works. |
Does the find all results show up in database copy and paste format? Excel has find all too but the results aren't copy/filterable
