For those that dont know what Im referring to. They basically make it seem like you cant do anything on a pc that has to do with video, or music, or graphics. Fucking laughable.

so don't buy one.

I am not gonna get in anymore Mac vs PC fights. BTW lying on a commercial is illegal, it's called false advertising. Maybe the PC guy is an eMachine.

personally i love them, i love macs, i think steve jobs is an amazing innovator... i dont listen to the talk about who can do what and how, i just love the comedy of those two standing there as bill gates and steve jobs trading lines because its so true; not that all a pc can do is count, but how those 2 are and always have been.. its too funny im sure jobs is rolling on the floor laughing at those commercials and gates and annoyed... actually i think his revenge on jobs for them was the microsoft version of the ipod lol

Oh the comedy is fine. Thats the good part of it. Its the out and out lies. Maybe the pc in the commercial is a 386 or something....

I think the reason why it's not out and out lies is simply because when you buy a Mac, it comes with the programs you use to do all those things. Its part of the price, all Macs come with that shit standard, and it's all Apple software, not 3rd party. PC's don't. I think that's the fact that they are playing off of.

The reason I would never buy a mac is because I see people in forums begging for mac friendly applications all the time also would hate that one button thing plus I have quicktime player installed and its always begging me to install itunes when I do not have an ipod

I worked at an animation studio for several years on a PC and would have to say that I preferred PC's over Macs hands down even though the studio had both. Macs were always more unstable and the network was bogged down by the Mac bullshit.

Not sure about the applications, never had a problem there. My standard Mac mouse has like 6 buttons and a scroll ball, all Macs come with iTunes already installed so that's a PC issue I guess, and iTunes isn't just for iPods.

Because Intel could guarantee to be able to make the chips fast enough and keep making them faster as needed. The old chips couldn't make that guarantee, so they lost the contract.
