I have some behind the scenes things in the works. Nothing worth posting at this point until it materializes.

What happened to zango posting here? I think the biggest factor the posts have declinded is because Lars wised up and shut up for a while. None of the other zango supporters want to posts. So until something new breaks, there is no new news to post.

many people are making people aware through various different scripts. or bypassing zango's thievery using one of many methods suggested.. Thats about as far as the average guy will go and hopefully will be enough to take the wind out of their sails..

Brother it ain't hoopla. Okay a lot of arguing and infighting has been a bit ridiculous, I'll give you that. But the part about what Zango does and which companies are supporting them and how they are hurting affiliates and the industry as a whole I wouldn't call hoopla.


At any rate there are things still happening out on the web in places other than here on GFY, for example.... www.zangoblacklist.com .... check it out if you haven't already.

Some people here were starting to whine about "too many zango threads" and posting "shut up already" etc... now we've got people wondering why the "hoopla" has died down... lol. Good ol' GFY never ceases to amaze me.

I'm interested to see the results of the appeals to the FTC and whether they get whitelisted..both of which are happening this month

Thanks to all that "Hoopla" as you call it, we were able to come up with a plan that we think will protect our affiliates traffic up to a 99.9% margin. Keep your eyes on Homegrown :)

Speaking for myself, I wrote to the FTC asking them not to finalize their agreement; I have a zango page up to which I'm redirecting "infected" surfers; and I shall soon have finished removing all my links to sponsors with sites popped by Zango (I set up a spare PC for checking).

If the topic arises again or the highest profile Zango supporters reappear, I shall likely post again. But I don't have the time or inclination to become a crusader for an industry which doesn't seem very interested in protecting itself.

net net net, cams / AFF has lost exposure overall. Particularly when you look at say 6 months, where AFF has dropped it's reach by half, and cams hasn't made up that difference.

Put it another way: all the "we had the best month ever" stuff seems to pile up like so much stinky poo.

I think the reason for the sudden silence about AFF's use of Zango is this:
