If you are buying a capped 1Mbps pipe, your realistic throughput will probably be around 150-200 gigs a month at the most, because the 320 gig number is a theoretical maximum if the pipe was totally maxed out 24/7, as Marketsmart said.
If it's for a website, web traffic is extremely spikey, and if you have more than a few dozen members, a 1Mbps cap (such as if you purchase a T1, which is actually 1.5Mbps) won't be enough at peak periods. 3 users downloading a 500K video at the same time will max out your bandwidth.
If your ISP allows you to burst, it might be OK for a few dozen members. More than that, you'll need a larger pipe.
