Yeah the lights closed a couple times at the office today but no more then a few seconds I hope we'll be ok tonight the temperature sucks.

Our power went out for a while 2 nights ago due to weather. And the weather wasn't even that bad. This place sucks...

I have seen a couple of transformers go up in a flash south of the airport (but I am not sure how far). I had one flicker, nothing more. Not too bad.

True - those people in New Orleans, Florida, the Gulf of Mississippi and Alabama where it's warm never lose power. :thumbsup

I'm in Florida...and yes we loose power a lot in hurricane season...I rather have that though then freezing cold. The coldest it gets here in winter is 70 degrees...its usually around 75 in Dec. Jan. and Feb it gets into the 80s

I know, I was just making the point about losing power :thumbsup I grew up in FL and personally, you couldn't pay me to move back. I like seasons. North GA is perfect for me - warm in the summer, mildly cold in the winter :) But I have to admit, I LOVE cold weather. I'd rather be cold than hot.
