I wonder if you'd be saying that if it was YOUR little girl that was being attacked?

We can't forget that kids are WAY different these days, I think it's highly likely that this kids demeanor was FAR worse than just a common lunch room fight.

The fact that even after being tasered once, he again went after the girl to attack her, speaks VOLUMES.

No officer should be forced to fight with anyone, period. Trying to break the boy off of that girl could have just put the girl in danger of further injury. Risk injury to the attacker, not the one being attacked.

The 11 year old is damaged goods probably being raised by some ghetto pieces of shit parents that never taught him to keep his hands off of girls, and to listen to the police when they tell you to do something.

Maybe now that he's ridden the lightning and hauled off to jail, the little shit will think twice before putting his hands on someone again.

Thank you BA for saving me the effort of typing....you couldn't be more correct...I GUARANTEE you next time he goes to grab a girl, the thought of getting tasered again will at least play into his decision and will hopefully deter him.

thats a little different but no where in that article did it say he was 200 lbs and that he tried to attack the girl a second time after being stunned once...

and if it was my daughter being attacked i still wouldn't want them to use excessive force on the 11 year old CHILD to stop him, it doesn't even say to what extent he was attacking her cornering her could have been attacking her grabbing her arm could have been attacking her.... the scenarios can go on and on...

the fact is that both parties involved were CHILDREN not adults and whether or not the stun gun was on low or not no child deserves to be stunned for something like that kids fight every day it happens. UNLESS THE CHILD HAD A WEAPON IN HIS HANDS THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY TIME I WOULD RATIONALIZE THIS SITUATION. a teacher would have surely handled the situation differently as they deal with these types of things on a day to day basis when have you ever heard of a teacher using a stun gun on a child to stop them from fighting or any weapon for that matter on a CHILD to stop them from fighting? this isn't a columbine situation where the kid had a gun and tried to shoot the girl or had a knife and was threatening her life...

again if he is was were a cop he could have physically handled a child...

it's a matter of calmly mediating the situation he overreacted end of story.

and i don't think its standard practice for these SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS to carry stun guns. they don't even carry a night stick in our schools they just sit on a stool in their uniform no gun no taser no night stick.

Hell, one of my little brothers used to kick the crap out of the teachers at his school when he was in 2nd or 3rd grade and he probably didn't weigh 50 lbs

I would have tased his girl attacking ass too. I'm glad they did it. I wish they had tased him 10 times instead of 2. I wish they would tase him once a day for the rest of his life. That's just me though.
