Dorset, England (AHN) - A scorned woman who learned of her cheating boyfriend's "extra-curricular" affairs, got revenge by hijacking his MySpace page "to show people who he really is."
Sam Deakin, a Web site designer from Bourneouth, Dorset in England found out that her 25-year-old boyfriend Matt East was having an affair with one woman and trying to date another 20. She hacked into East's MySpace page, changed its password so he could not log in and alter what she had done.
Deakin first changed the welcome note on the page to say, "I'm a pathological liar. I cheat regularly," before mimicking the Mastercard TV commercial, reports The Sun.
She wrote, "Dinner in a posh restaurant...$100. Night in a top hotel...$200. Finding out your boyfriend is a lying scumbag and changing his MySpace page so everyone can see...PRICELESS."
After the changes, the site received more than 250,000 hits in five days with women calling Matt a "total loser."
Deakin, who is a mother of two, told The Sun, "I wanted to show him up for who he is."
The site has been since closed by MySpace.
East defended himself and said, "I admit I cheated. I'm just a man."
