Gmail provides a great service for sure.

The government had Google tied up in a huge anti-trust case so they made a deal. Gmail would be formed, with a direct backdoor to the FBI and CIA. Every email going in and out through Gmail is being monitored. They are trying to steal your great recipes.

I noticed this too people laugh because you use a free email serve deemed "unprofessional" its stupid really now I use my domain email addy that goes to my gmail account anyways

I have domain emails as well. Just no damn reason to use them. If someone wishes to deem me unprofessional due to my email addy, then they better never meet me or see my wardrobe. :Oh crap

Those that I work with, have worked with, or even slightly think they know me have no issue with my professionalism.

For me, if I know the person it doesn't matter. I havea gmail account and use it for a lot of business. But when I contact someone for the first time, if they have a free email account, it seems a little funny to me. I find myself wondering how I'm supposed to trust someone that doesn't even have a real email account.

It really is stupid, you could call it profiling :) but I do sometimes have that feeling.
