I'm looking to go for the 1st time soon. I've been told my ass is going to hurt from falling.

What should I buy/wear?

The Ussual snowboarding gear, pants, jacket, gloves.. Beanie if thats your thing.. A good pair of boots is always nice.. Where abouts are you going depends aswell :D

What kind of pants? My gf went awhile back w/ regular snowboarding pants and her ass was bruised for weeks.

Suck it up, the pain is supposed to be a deterrant from falling. After your first few trips you'll hurt a little less.

I saw my girls ass when she got home. It looked like she got smacked on the ass with a lead pipe for about 4 hours straight.

I used to all the time when I lived in Seattle. But I remember the first few times I ate shit and knocked the wind out of me a few times because I got ballzy

You'll be sore no matter what...so just live it up and have fun! I twisted my ankles...but it was all worth it!
