i got an acer a couple months ago for like 1600. pretty good, even has a decent video card.

The laptop I'm using right now only has a 14.1" screen on it and man do I love it.

It's so light, small, sleek...I've had 20", 17" and 15.4" laptops, HP, Toshiba, and now Acer, and my favorite is my new Acer 14" by far.

I used to dislike Acer, but I got this one free from work, and it's amazing. Goes to show that you never know until you try :P
