Ran a test promo over the weekend (adwords) with the following stats:

Rev share/life of memeber: 691 Uniques...64 free members...2 sign-ups...$18

My question for anyone with cam niche experience (large or small scale):

On an informal level, how would you rate those results (the stats, not the effectiveness of the adwords campaign) on a scale of 1-5 based on your experience with niche averages?

Also, is there a rule of thumb for free member>paid member conversion ratios?

since your adwords SHOULD be targeted.. wahts the site ?

Not interested in adwords advice, but thank you. I only mentioned adwords to help clarify the type of visitor sent to the site which yes, was targeted.

I could've left out the $ amount too...

I only promote cams and have been for a long time, I just don't promote revshare though. All your ratios seem about in line with what I'd expect, but the dollar value seems low. If your promotion just ended its really hard to evaluate your stats at this point since you're promoting revshare, give it a few weeks to settle before you analyze your $/unique. I'm curious what sponsor were you using?

So you made 64 free members ... I'd say you did really good for a 1:10 ratio of unique to free. If you don't get a few more sales then something is wrong.

Hey, I really do appreciate the input. Seriously, it was very informative. Sponsor isn't some great secret or anything, just not relevant at this point and would probably turn this into a "xxxxxx sucks, get better conversions here" thing. No offense.

PussyCash has the biggest pay out in cam industry.... 125$ per sign up...

Now you can try and run that campaign again with a pay per sale sponsor instead of revshare and see if you get a better $/unique.

i only use revshare for about 3 years

for adwords that ratio seems pretty low.
I haven't ran adwords since a while now but I was getting 1:100
the cool thing is I still get money from that campaign.

they are running a special paying 5.00 PER FREE so you would have made 5.00 x 64 free = $320.00 If you signup in my sig I could perhaps help you..but I think you are doing fine just the $ ammount is low.

Nice, make sure once you signed up under me you send a message to Allen or 4pics.. tell them you want the 5.00 promo. It might take them a little bit to respond back..in the mean time send a little bit of traffic see how well it does for you.. 2.00 per free + 5.00 per signup Dating/Cams work almost hand and hand.
