Developing a Website

I was curious on the cost, the type of software needed and what else. My friend she's deciding to make her own personal website thing with webcam/videos, pictures.

She was curious on how much do these girls make?

I'm a web developer [as I have developed for XboxGamers.com in the past, worked a little with a few other websites for clans]. I'm not too familiar with security as it never was a problem for me with the sites I've developed. But this is going to be my first website I develop in PHP [if I do] that has quite a bit of security.

But what are some good hosts, software and what-not.

Thanks,
AFG07

Get ready for shock. To do it right will take a considerable investment in time and money.

My suggestion is to get her started with cams that someone else hosts - I-Friends, maybe, and build a blog site to promote it. Once you both decide it's what you want to do for the long-term, invest some time in education and some money in infrastructure.

Most girls I've talked to who "like, really want to do the porn stuff, ya know?" bail out about a month later when they realize it's a lot of work!

Alrighty, so you suggest her doing cams first.

What would be a good camera site for her to do, and how much do cam girls get paid usually?

After how long should she start developing a website or what not?

Thanks.

I-Friends is a good cam site.

As far as how long she should wait to get a blog website to promote it: she shouldn't wait at all!

I can help you get your website set up for a very fair price. If interested, get in touch.

I could offer you a ready-made pay-per-view webcam system. Let me know if you are interested.
