Is this needed ?
Ok people I am starting work on and old domain but with a fresh look and offering some not to standard items.
1. Designers are all around with all kinds of offers but almost none of them jump into building members areas or redundant html pages. 2. PHP and CGI guys are all over the place too and a lot of them really don't want to deal with the customers they'd rather do work for a broker who will deal with the customer. 3. Most webmasters have no clue about server security or upgrading software on a server. So here what I am thinking of. I own a domain HTMLPlace.com it's kinda been dormant for a few years with a crappy design on it and really nothing in the way of real info. But back in the day when domain were $70.00 a year and .com names were plentiful HTMLPlace was the place a lot of people started learning this thing called web design. I'm thinking of revamping that and bringing it back. I have designers that would work for me if they didn't have to deal with the customers and give me a good price for thier work. I have programmers and server technicians that will do the same. Myself I'm pretty knowledgeable in all those areas. And I'm thinking it's a good idea to go ahead with this project. However I would like to hear what the normal webmaster has to say on all this. Would you use services like this if it was all under one roof and had a service guarantee? Do you think these services are needed for the thrifty webmaster? My thought is this. Most webmasters either cannot afford a decent dedicated server at managed prices, so they go and get cheap servers then are stuck when something happens to them. My services should help on this. looking for feedback to make sure there would be an audience. Thanks, JFPDude |
