    How long does it take to get a package from the US? (To Canada)

    It says 'Clearance in Progress' since 10am this morning (its 6pm now)
    I think the package is in my city.. when can I expect to receive it?

                              Depends what you're receiving - the 'estimated' value they put on the package - the custom's agent verifying your package.

                              Most likely by tomorrow you'll get it, latest wednesday. **presuming it's just a delay due to the extra shipments**

                                          it may be flagged for a number of reasons...paperwork is incomplete, the declared value may be wrong or it someone tried to slip it through as a gift...

                                              it finally got past 'clearance in progress'.. but it turns out the package hasnt even left the US!
                                              will there be a 2nd delay due to customs or was that it?
