So I finally got around to smoking an Opus X "A"

After a big prime rib dinner and a few bottles of wine, my friend and I sat out on his patio and lit up a pair of "A"s. It was a happy 2 hours.

I still prefer the Padron 1964 Anniversary series.

the Opus is a damn good cigar though.

Sounds like a night to me, i havent had a steak and cigar dinner (ribs work just as well obviously) for a while.

I used to make the trip to the cigar shop weekly but these days i have just been to lazy to do so. I really miss lighting one up, My all time classic fav is still Macanudo, i have no idea on what the exact name is i just know the cigar by its package.

I also enjoy R&J (who doesnt) and Davidoff makes a nice light cigar that i love to puff on when it gets a little late in the night.

mmm cigars, i am going to have to go and pick a couple up today.

yeah guys, the Padron 1964s and 1926s are favorites of mine too. I actually just picked up a handfull of 1964 "A"s in maduro this week. My friend bought a whole box.

90% of my collection consists of Opus, Padron, and Diamond Crown Maximus. I actually picked up a couple of Stanford’s 90th Diamond Crown Maximus that I'm dying to try. They're done with a Cameroon wrapper.

ahh yeah i forgot the 1926's

now THOSE are a great way to end a great meal...

Imperiales I believe

nice!

12clicks 11-28-2006 07:36 PM

ok, so tonight I tried the Padron 1964 A. It was good but couldn't compare to the OpusX A. first, it was only an hour smoke, and second, two As in a week is a bit much for me. haha

shekinah 11-28-2006 09:00 PM

Sounds like you have a very relaxing night:)
