Checking for plagiarism, is there a way to do it?
Is there a way to check large blocks of text to determine if you've been plagiarised?
No, this doesn't have anything to do with adult. Viele Dank, Mucho Gracias, and all that. |
yea, there are special programs and stuff that teachers can use to search for plagiarism...

Plagiarism is rampant all over the web now, it's insane.
Who'd have thought there were so many lazy unimaginitive unoriginal titwipes in the world. :D |
You're not going to find a downloadable program for it most likely, at least not one that works well. For plagiarism checkers to work you have to have an enormous database containing all those 'free essays', articles from newspapers, magazines, and much more. The largest and most accurate service I know if is Turnitin, and they are horrendously expensive ($1-$10k per year). For websites and not essay-oriented stuff, there are a few free ones out there that mainly just check google, like Copyscape… which are again not that useful if just a few words have been changed from original.
