I can't chime in for the PS3 but I do have a 360 and PS2. I'll tell you this much, after playing the 360 for a while, I can't go back to the PS2. I bought the new Socom on PS2 just this week (I've always been a huge fan of that series) but after playing the next-gen 360, I can't get interested in the old PS2. I never realized how much difference there was in features and graphics until I played both.
With that said, I'm anxious to get a PS3, but I'm going to wait til all the madness ends. Right now, all the games that I would want to play on the PS3 are available on the 360 so I can wait it out.
The side by side comparisons for the 360 and PS3 have been favoring the 360 lately... but the PS3 is brand new so it's hard to really get a good gauge of it's power. The games available at launch for any new system are usually weak. I don't think we'll really be able to compare them until a year from now.

I wasn't aware that the GTA series was available on Xbox yet. I know the latest one is going to be on the 360, but I thought all currently released GTA's were exclusive to PS2. I could be wrong though.
However, playing some of the normal xbox games on the 360 can be done, but I believe you have to download patches and things to get it to work. Not all normal xbox games are able to be played on the 360, but Xbox does a pretty good job at providing a list of those that can be played. Check out xbox.com, I believe the list is on there.

I have all 3 new systems and I agree with the others. An Xbox 360 is best if you want a great system that you can buy and have a full selection of games to choose from. Xbox Live is setup nicely for online play, plus the systems are actually in stock at most places.
The PS3 is a system that you're gonna have to wait for some great exclusive games to come out. I bought it and have 3 games, which are nice, but for the rest of the games that are released, none of them really catchy my eye, so I'm gonna have to wait months for some worthy titles to come out.Comment

That's cool that you play Lineage 2. I used to play it a while back and a couple of months I tried getting back into it, but I assumed that most people were bots/farmers because their names were all like aik3024ka, so I decided to stick with WoW
