I'm going to blacklist Erotica Empire AKA hitbox... when you click that (blind) counter you are going to an entry page with nothing else than blind links. No content whatsoever and no link to anything that looks like a counter...

Then close it...

The first exit console immediately tries to install a dialer. The bombardment of consoles that follow all try to do something similar... I do not want to risk my visitors to be caught up in this way too agressive advertising scheme. Yes, I do take my visitors by their hand and am very protective... that's why over 1.5 million come back every day...

This is fucked. Not thehun banning hitbox.. but I have there counters on all my pages. Now this will be a lot of work changing,shit just finding them all will be a big task.

Jimmy, it was worse... I know the original owner, Blase, quite well, visited him and did a lot of things together in regard to updating their counter and such... Then he sold the business and it came in to other people's hands. They mailed me a couple of weeks back to ask if I was interested in putting the counter back on. I then explained that on several occasion had mailed 'em in the past about their counter. They were the first to have a blind counter leading to blind banners. After that I didn't hear a single thing from 'em. Didn't gave it much more thought 'till I got the dialers loading when I clicked the counter button.

Sites that are already submitted with this counter will not be deleted without a notice. But new ones will not go through the submit sequence. In a couple of weeks I might clear out the archives which means galleries with the counter still on there are removed, but I won't do that right away

Every counter is img sourced 3 ways from sunday... that's how they collect the data... ;-)

Thanks hun.. I don't want there counter on my pages now. Going to be a lot of work changing .. Bet someone bought the company, paid too much for it and thought they were going rich or richer over night.

hun what about fox counter is it ok? am not going to use sextracker.. ad-ware reports it as spy ware, and I really do not want surfer's thinking am trying any funny stuff.

I think the counters are getting more and more blind anyway. I added a tracker system to the sextracker counter on my page, so I know exactly how many people click that counter (some counters claim 'nobody clicks on the counter'). I now know that's not true...

All counters are getting more and more blind. I have been declining galleries with the counter placed with the pictures 'cause it was a pure blind link. Also, sextracker's counter links to a page filled with blind ads. But at least that doesn't load dialers and all. Once you click one of the ads you are locked in an endless loop of consoles and dialer downloads though. So they might be the next in line to no longer be allowed on galleries.

I understand fully that counters also have to make money, but I don't think they have to do that by sending visitors to dialer traps. Sextracker's counter links to http://start.sextracker.com/Links/.

No counters are blacklisted besides hitbox.com right now. I hope this will get counters to cut some slack. Maybe not, I don't know, but I think it's a pity people are lured in to dialer traps. Especially when we're talking 4 USD/min dialers here...

counters on galleries are worth shit.
if you use paid hosting (which is 100x better than using a freehost) you can simply check your serverlogs and get way better information about your galleries.
and if you use free hosting you better switch to paid hosting.

Pretty well every germes site blacklisted hotbox about 2 months ago - its unfortuate hitbox went this route, their counter was really nice.
