is there a way/service to receive text messages by email or on the web as well?
 

is there a service or a way to set it up so when someone sends a text message to my phone that I can also receive it by email or somehow logon to a website to view the text message?

i don't know about a website but you can send a text message to a phone from yahoo messenger...all they would have to do is keep that Id in their phone and they could text you and you would get it online.
