Verotel suck...theirAPI is crap and convoluted
 

If you're a webmaster who likes to take care of their own member base and account management then these guys are not for you.....yes, they have a decent reputation, but as far as flexibility in allowing Webmasters to work outside their standard "packages" then forget it....so if its API integration you?re looking for then go elsewhere as they don?t seem to give a rats, and the meager response that they do give is so lame ? nothing but a cut and paste job is some half-hearted email?.

I'd worry about this if it wasn't for the shitload of money they send me each week.

Every webmaster starting out has a budget....you start low because it makes fiscal sense....its not about being cheap.

Anyway, that's not my point - my point is some webmasters like to take control of their own account management because of the simple reason they have the skills to implement such a system, rather than source it out to Verotel.

And with a Pro account their API gets better?....yeh right!

Verotel only offers the API to Pro customer.

As a Ticketsclub account holder, you can't use the API.

Ticketsclub is for the beginning webmaster. They clearly state that. Either you are new, or have no budget. While T.C. works fine for me, as I've had little issues since being with them. It's nice for simplicity.

Just like anything, anywhere, if you want bells and whistles. You have to pay for them chief.

Personaly i don't see big difference in % between TC and Pro. And that dosn't mean i'm cheap. But i'm absolutly agree with topic starter, no any documentation about post data and what you got back. Perl scripts in download area, is far away for starters. In email i got reply, with information what i understood from provided scripts. I don't need membership management. I need simply credits based transactions. Hope some how will resolve that problem. Vertoel people need to look at ePass, how well documented all transactions process for wm.
