There were Drunk Drivers everywhere.

We went out last night and I'm so glad I wasn't in the mood to have a drink cuz boy oh boy everyone on the road was drunk.:disgust I had someone come right on into my lane and I had to pull off the road or it would have been a head on collision. :(

I wish there was something that could be done about Drunk Drivers.

need to do a leaving las vegas on them.

Quagmire 11-25-2006 07:55 AM

That blows. It wouldn't be very nice if you had an accident and ruined that perfect rack.

Seriously though, its not a good thing. They need to get more cops on the roads in your area during the holidays.

Sosa 11-25-2006 08:00 AM

Gotta be very careful and be a defensive driver on big holiday weekends like this.

Awww that was nice, I have to agree they did need more cops out. On the news they were saying they had all kinds of overtime for the cops but I don't think they took advantage of it.

Last night here in Philly ... My friend got busted for DUI :(

He's drives a work van from being in construction... Had a cooler full of beer next to him as he's driving, blew a light and got popped.

Failed the field test for sobriety. Got taken in for a blood test, truck was impounded and searched ... They found a bag of Hydro in there as well.

Spent the night in Jail. Has to hire a lawyer, lay out a grand and he's on the waiting list for work meaning he's only got unemployment to support 3 kids and now has to spend more to get his truck out of the impound yard, appear in court, probably have a suspended license for 90 days from what he tells me.

As me and him agreed on the phone: Party at home and stay sober on the road. it's not worth killing someone or yourself .... Now, its going to be a lesson for a few thousand dollars all over a $20 case of beer.

Please think before you drive.

TurboAngel 11-25-2006 08:44 AM

Yea we had someone fly by us at a red light, thank god there wasn't anyone coming from the other side.

:(

DjSap 11-25-2006 09:03 AM

if they just start executing people who drive drunk it would be taken seriously...

Unfortunately, all too often, the Almighty takes out innocent people in the process...

According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2005, 16,885 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes - an average of one almost every half-hour. These deaths constituted approximately 39 percent of the 43,443 total traffic fatalities.

No road blocks here.

Lucky for me I blaze too much to go out at night anymore. Where I'm at, you can't drive a few blocks w/out seeing some cops.

madawgz 11-25-2006 04:57 PM
