    Someone from ICQ contact me...

    Oh wait you can't contact me because ICQ locks my computer up when it tries to load the contact list... WTF?

    Someone posted a message about this earlier in the week but I can't find it because the damn GFY search is broken which can only mean that we have a new skin coming...

                  I had the same problem, its a bitch I also had ICQ lock up after a while.
                  I searched around and found out it can be caused if you have someone on your list that use miranda and have a avatar or profile picture.
                  The only solution is to delete that person but there is no way to know who it is

                  I had the problem for several days until I finally could get online when the person using Miranda wasn't, I deleted most of my recent contacts and that solved it for me.

                  It just hangs at loading contact list and the only way to close it is thru Ctrl+Alt+Delete right?

                  I could get online using 2003b but not 5.1
