I think it's pretty cool, but fairly expensive for what it is..

The biggest disadvantage of such cars is it's speed - It just cannot keep up with gasoline powered cars. They are claiming 0-60 times in four seconds which is very fast.

If this is true, it could be the beginning of the end of the cars we drive today.

I give these guys quite a bit of credit - actually spoke with them for a while...

they said straight out - ya this car is overpriced, but they are using $$ generated from this model to pay for more development and a mass market model

not sure if anyone saw the AL Gore movie... An Inconvenient Truth.. but since then this type of thing makes a ton of sense.. I dont really give a fuck about the extra cost to be honest

$100,000 for that? Buy the Lotus Elise on which it's based for $40,000 and spend the rest on fuel and planting trees. Then read up on "Dust to dust" energy costs if you're misguided enough to think this is a great way to save the environment.

Yeah, take it to 0-60 about 4 times and bring that number down to 20 or 25 miles :1orglaugh

Wow... If I could get one here in the UK and it drives as well as it looks I'd buy one tomorrow. Great price imo!
